摘要: This article discusses risk factors, incidence trends, and prognostic considerations for head neck cancer (HNC). The primary causes of HNC are tobacco alcohol use, human papillomavirus (HPV). Tobacco-related rates decreasing in countries where use has declined. HPV-HNC, which occurs primarily the oropharynx is associated with sexual behaviors, been increasing over past several decades, among white men particular. prognosis overall improved slightly since 1990s, influenced by site, stage, HPV status. Prognosis HPV-HNC significantly better than HPV-negative disease.
