摘要: Rising human population and economic development have led to drastic increase in energy consumption. Currently, the largest portion of demand across world is met by continually depleting fossil fuels which also add environmental pollution global warming. This has intensified quest for more sustainable cleaner indigenous sources reduce high dependence on as well alleviate poverty rural remote localities, especially continents like Asia, Africa South America. paper proposes implementation wind biomass-based generation systems electrification one viable option alleviation off-grid localities country. assesses compares feasibility electricity production from various biomass based systems, such with without storage when are hybridized form a hybrid renewable system (HRES). The case studies carried out Mseleni village Net Present Cost, Cost Electricity, excess carbon emissions used comparison criteria.
