摘要: This paper discusses the economic analysis and environmental impacts of integrating a photovoltaic (PV) array into diesel-electric power systems for remote villages. Matlab simulink is used to match load with demand apportion electrical production between PV generator. The economics part model calculates fuel consumed, kilowatt-hours (kWhrs) obtained per gallon supplied, total cost fuel. CO2 participate matter (PM), NOx emitted atmosphere. Simulations based on an actual system in Alaskan community Lime Village were performed three cases: 1) diesel only, 2) diesel-battery, 3) diesel-batter using one year time period. simulation results utilized calculate energy payback, simple payback module, avoided costs CO2, , PM
