摘要: The objective of this study was to prepare sodium nonivamide acetate (SNA) microemulsion for topical administration. Microemulsions consisted a mixed surfactant Tween 80 and Span 20 as surfactant, ethanol cosurfactant, isopropyl myristate (IPM) an oil phase water external phase. effect composition including the ratio phase/surfactant/aqueous phase, various cosurfactant polymer on character permeability were evaluated. mean droplet size SNA microemulsions ranged from 64 208 nm. showed potent enhancement transdermal delivery by 3.7-7.1-fold increase when compared with control group. Microemulsion containing had highest effect. With incorporated polymer, viscosity increased resulting in decrease penetration rate SNA. However, delivered higher than volatile vehicles (pH 4.2 buffer 25% ethanol) reported earlier study, therefore could be effective vehicle
