摘要: Previous work on graph visualization has yielded a wealth of efficient analysis algorithms and expressive visual mappings. To support the exploration structures, high degree interactivity is required as well. We present fully implemented system, called CGV (Coordinated Graph Visualization), whose particular emphasis interaction. The system incorporates several interactive views that address different aspects visualization. tasks, view ensembles can be created dynamically with help flexible docking framework. Several novel techniques, including enhanced dynamic filtering, lenses, edge-based navigation are presented. main canvas interactions augmented cues, among which infinite grid radar novel. provides history mechanism allows for undo/redo general potential application in many scenarios. It been designed dual-use run stand-alone or an applet web browser. used to evaluate clustering results, navigate topological structures neuronal systems, perform some time-varying graphs.
