摘要: We review approaches and tools currently used in Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway Sweden) for integrated assessment of 'ecological status' sensu the EU Water Framework Directive as well 'eutrophication coastal marine waters. Integration principles combining indicators within biological quality elements (BQEs) BQEs into a final-integrated are discussed. Specific focus has been put on different types information indices, since several methods employed. As consequence variety used, comparisons across both water categories (river, lakes waters) can be difficult. Based our analyses, we conclude that some integration critical harmonised approach should developed. Further, applied need harmonisation if want better understanding potential transition ecological status between surface types, e.g. when riverine enters downstream lake or body.
