摘要: Abstract Synthesis of a number rat liver proteins, including albumin, fibrinogen, apolipoprotein AI, and transferrin, is elevated in the nephrotic syndrome (NS). Increased synthesis these proteins regulated at transcriptional level occurs context increased mRNA encoding each protein. Changes transferrin levels total cellular RNA isolated from livers normal rats with passive Heymann nephritis were measured using kinetically monitored, reverse transcriptase-initiated PCR (kRT-PCR) assay. The kRT-PCR assay rapidly quantitated changes an accuracy comparable to that more labor-intensive quantitation methods. relative β-actin, albumin mRNAs very similar versus H4C3 hepatocytes culture, suggesting hepatocyte appropriate model for studying expression genes secreted by liver. Taken together, results demonstrate feasibility isolation characterization soluble factor responsible associated syndrome.
