摘要: The costs of health care in the last year life are a subject debate and myth. Expensive interventions at end often blamed for rapid increase spending, but evidence about existence such exceptionally high expenditures is rare faulty. This investigation examines development composition all age groups Netherlands. In contrast with earlier studies, this research analyzes both acute (cure) long-term (care) costs. As an alternative frequently used concept calendar years, we employed years calculating life. We found that when approaches its end, indeed rise sharply, especially months. However, compared total cure to entire population, concluded end-of-life share was only 10%. Results study show reduce will have modest impact budget.
