Abnormal esophageal motility in primary Sjögren's syndrome.

摘要: Esophageal monometric studies were done in 10 unselected patients with Sjogren's syndrome, not associated other connective tissue or chronic active hepatic disease. Nine of the revealed abnormal esophageal motility, consisting absent decreased contractility upper third esophagus. In four patients, dysfunction also extended to portions organ. Dryness mouth and oropharynx, mucosal atrophy, does explain these findings. The uniform pattern found primary which differs from patterns involvement observed diseases, suggests that syndrome is probably a distinct entity.
