摘要: Sjogren’s syndrome (SS) is a chronic, inflammatory, systemic, autoimmune disease, characterized by dryness of the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes, frequently associated with rheumatic disease (Machin et al. 1984; Simila 1978). It second most frequent collagen disorder, surpassed in prevalence only rheumatoid arthritis (Shearn 1977). The diagnosis is, however, overlooked. Whaley, (1973) observed that SS had been unsuspected before referral all 94 patients whom it coexisted arthritis.
