摘要: Abstract Aim To assess the incidence of dog bite and utilization anti-rabies vaccine between January 1997 December 2008. Methods Reported cases from archives were collected analyzed in Accident Emergency Centre University Benin Teaching Hospital, City, Nigeria. Result A total 143 reported none was previously immunized. Forty-seven (32.87%) hospitalized; maximum duration [167 ± 0.71 h]. Ciprofloxacin paracetamol frequently used antibacterial anti-inflammatory agents, respectively. All anti-tetanus sera. One traditional medication prior to report presented clinical sign hydrophobia. He died despite therapy.
