摘要: Western red-backed voles are endemic to western Oregon and northern California represent a large proportion of the rodent community in mature Douglas-fir forests. Despite their dominance these forests, little is known about selection home ranges. We radiotracked 23 3 mature, coniferous forest stands southern Cascades during 1994 1995 estimated range size, movements, habitat associations. Males had larger ranges than females males moved farther each evening females. Females were most active 2 periods: shortly after dusk before dawn. all night.
