Síndrome de Reye congénito asociado a varicela materna

摘要: RESUMENIntroduccion: el sindrome de Reye es una encefalopatia aguda asociada a degeneracion grasa del higado que usualmente precedida de infeccion respiratoria o varicela y tiene alta prevalencia en ninos menores seis anos. Objetivo: reportar un caso clinico de sindrome congenito asociado la por adquirida madre. Presentacion caso: se describen los hallazgos de la autopsia, respectiva correlacion clinicopatologica recien nacido sexo masculino 37 semanas gestacion, hijo madre con activa desde cuatro dias antes parto, quien presento subitamente palidez generalizada, bradicardia apnea. Resultados: el examen histopatologico encontro citoplasma hepatocitos tubulos renales compromiso vacuolar correspondia a grasa. En cerebro evidencio severo edema, sin inflamacion perivascular meningea. Conclusion: corresponde sindrome de materna, termino manifestandose clinicamente como muerte subita. Anomalias congenitas.AbstractIntroduction: Reye’s syndrome is an acute encephalopathy associated with fatty degeneration of the liver that usually preceded by a respiratory infection or chickenpox and highly prevalent in children under 6 years old. Objective: to report clinical case congenital Reye’s varicella acquired from mother. Case report: we describe autopsy findings the respective clinicopathological correlation male newborn weeks gestation, son mother active 4 days before birth, who presented sudden paleness, bradycardia Results: histopathologic examination found cytoplasm of hepatocytes renal tubules commitment corresponds fat. The brain showed severe edema without perivascular or meningeal inflammation. Discussion conclusion: it congenital varicella infection pregnancy, finished clinically as death.
