摘要: Background and Methods In some patients who are hospitalized for acute illness, we have noted a reversible syndrome of headache, altered mental functioning, seizures, loss vision associated with findings indicating predominantly posterior leukoencephalopathy on imaging studies. To elucidate this syndrome, searched the log books listing computed tomographic (CT) magnetic resonance (MRI) studies performed at New England Medical Center in Boston Hopital Sainte Anne Paris; found 15 such were evaluated from 1988 through 1994. Results Of patients, 7 receiving immunosuppressive therapy after transplantation or as treatment aplastic anemia, 1 was interferon melanoma, 3 had eclampsia, 4 hypertensive encephalopathy renal disease (2 lupus nephritis, glomerulonephritis, acetaminophen-induced hepatorenal failure).
