Experimental Study on Surface Aerators Stirred by Triple Impellers

摘要: In a stirred vessel with the aspect ratio of 2.4, gas-liquid mass transfer characteristics triple-impeller configurations surface aeration have been studied. The way by adding one or more impellers below aerating impeller could not overcome problem poor gas dispersion in region close to bottom only aerator. With combination and sparger aeration, is greatly improved. Triple-inipeller volumetric flow rates are optimized based on coefficient per power consumption. It found that sparging has little effect because configuration larger ratio.
