摘要: The advantages of activated carbon fibers (ACF) over granular (GAC) are reviewed and their relationship to ACF structure texture discussed. These make very attractive for gas storage applications. Both adsorbed natural (ANG) hydrogen adsorption performance predicted actual lignin-derived reviewed. manufacture derived monolith potential automotive (NG) applications reported. Future trends considered be positive. recent improvements in NG extraction coupled with the widespread availability wells means a relatively inexpensive abundant supply foreseeable future. This has rekindled interest NG-powered vehicles. benefit ANG compared compressed offer promise accelerated use as commuter vehicle fuel. It is hoped current cost hurdle can overcome opening that take advantage favorable properties versus GAC. Lastly, suggestions made regarding direction future work.
