摘要: Treating patients and their family members with respect dignity is a broadly accepted goal of health care. The work presented in this article part larger project aimed at better understanding what constitutes treatment the ICU to improve care that receive regard. Direct observation was selected as one methods facilitate because it provides opportunity see document actually occurs during encounters among patients, families, clinicians. This reports seven major thematic domains many subthemes together create detailed account interpersonal environmental components dignity. Attention these might enhance experience members.
