摘要: The association between dioecy and generalist mode of pollination suggested about 20 years ago has been recently questioned. It is argued that there evidence to indicate a disproportionate number dioecious species have relatively smaller flowers more than hermaphroditic taxa. This trend seems hold at the community level as well within genera containing species. Like other correlations among characters, dioecy, small flower size, systems provide important insights into mechanisms n1ant evolution.
