摘要: Demineralization of sweet whey was performed in a pilot electrodialysis unit EWDU-P1 provided with EDR stack 50 membrane pairs membranes RALEX CMH-PES and AMH-PES. Experiments were carried out at 15°C, which chosen to reduce microbial growth minimize degradation organic components nutritional value (especially lactose). Batch process demineralization ended when the conductivity diluate decreased 90% (87% decrease ash content). During constant outer voltage kept. The influence different spacer thickness (0.8 mm 1 mm) on velocity salt transport energy consumption studied. At higher reached earlier, but increased too. did not have significant effect length consumption. individual salts losses studied Removal chloride (up 99%) potassium (95%) most effective; lowest cut appeared for magnesium (75%) calcium (80%). Losses lactose negligible; crude protein content maximally 5%. Decrease titratable acidity observed
