摘要: On 26 August 1982 the satellites Dynamics Explorer 2 (DE-2) and Aureol-3 (A-3) crossed around same time southern polar cusp. DE-2 detected cleft in prenoon sector (11.5 H MLT) constituted by a poleward ion dispersion with two steps at 50 1.5 keV, respectively. Around MLT eastward, A-3 diffuse precipitation, immediately followed an equatorward (energy increases when latitude increases). The convection pattern was directed westward maximum, 1600 m/s, centred on low energy step. velocity measured had component where precipitation observed is observed. IMP-8 IMF data showed gap of cusp crossings, however using IMF-Bz that AE index we infer would have been positive during crossings. We are explaining observations merging interplanetary magnetic field geomagnetic lobe lines which produces high step DE-2. At viscous diffusion frontside magnetosphere
