摘要: Snowbed habitats are home to plant species that have adapted particular environmental conditions (i.e. long-lasting snow cover and short growing seasons). The presence of most these is dependent on a long period so their conservation may well depend in the future ability adapt effects climate change. aim this study was assess persistence snowbed communities using functional trait diversity indices. We used data for abundances from 32 snowbeds Andorra (Pyrenees) classified according certain variables (elevation, exposure, soil type temperature) duration. Nine traits were evaluate diversity, which characterised as consisting richness, evenness, dispersion, divergence community-weighted mean values. In two snowbeds, also recorded variation analysed along snowmelt gradient. found specialist had abiotic but there predominance grass originating neighbouring communities. less fewer strategies lower competitive severity increased. appear be sensitive length season than Our results suggest non-specialist will tend more frequently those affected by reduction
