摘要: The success of phototherapy depends on photochemical transformations bilirubin within light-exposed tissues. These reactions alter the structure in such a way that intact molecule or fragments it can be excreted via kidney liver without having to undergo further metabolic modification. So far three have been shown occur vivo, and is likely these together account for most effect light metabolism jaundiced newborns. are photooxidation, configurational isomerization, structural isomerization. In this presentation I shall discuss briefly some our evidence occurrence vivo speculate their relative contributions net phototherapy. Since interpretation studies very much dependent knowledge gleaned from vitro studies, begin with discussion latter.
