Capacitive-coupled Series Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons

摘要: A novel method to realize stopband within the operating frequency of spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) is presented. The introduced by a new kind capacitive-coupled series SPPs. Two conventional H-shaped unit cells are proposed construct cell, and every two separated gap with certain distance, which designed implement capacitive coupling. original impedance matching disturbed coupling, leading during transmission verified both numerical simulations experiments, simulated measured results have good agreements. It shown that structure exhibits in 9-9.5 GHz while band-pass feature maintains 5-9 GHz 9.5-11 GHz. In passband, reflection coefficient less than -10 dB, loss around 3 dB; stopband, -2 dB, -30 dB. compact size, easy fabrication band-stop features make promising plasmonic device SPP communication systems.
