摘要: Statement of Problem: Endodontically treated teeth are more prone to fracture. The post and core often used provide the necessary retention for prosthetic rehabilitation. Objectives: purpose this study was to: 1) compare fracture strength endodontically restored either with Nickel-Chromium (Ni- Cr) or Non- Precious Gold-color alloy (NPG) compared control group 2) evaluate site in each group. Materials Methods: In experimental study, endodontic treatment carried out 45 extracted maxillary premolars. specimens were divided into 3 groups (n=15). Group1: NPG core, group2: Ni-Cr 3, no after access cavity filled amalgam. Failure force recorded Newton when root remaining coronal structure occurred. Data analyzed using one-way analysis variance (ANOVA), Student t-test Tukey HSD test three groups. Results: There a statistically significant difference among all (P<0.05). Fracture resistance by posts significantly higher than those Ni- Cr (P<0.001). Results showed that mainly occurred while fractures portion Conclusions: findings present indicated without cast lower core. Also had posts.
