摘要: In this study, we analyzed the metabolite features of yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Naumovia castellii, and mikatae. The three species are closely related genetically but differ in their tolerance desiccation stress. Specifically, determined whether certain metabolites correlated with cell viability after stress imposition. metabolomics profiles these strains were compared before rehydration. S. mikatae, presence lysine or glutamine during rehydration led to a 20% increase survival whereas dehydration levels both amino acids yeast drastically reduced.
