摘要: Aim To investigate the impact of socio-economic disadvantage on indicators cerebral palsy (CP) severity - motor impairment, intellectual disability, and presence severe comorbidities in children with CP Australia. Method Data from Australian Cerebral Palsy Register were analysed. Socio-economic was assessed using maternal age, country birth, a measure neighbourhood status (SES) at time child's birth. Descriptive bivariate analysis, trend risk ratios, mediation analysis undertaken to examine severity. Results A gradient demonstrated an increasing proportion non-ambulant status, least moderate (having epilepsy, functional blindness, bilateral deafness, and/or no verbal communication) decreasing SES, adolescent motherhood, minority ethnicity. Interpretation In Australia, birth impacts adversely age 5 years. By identifying that socio-economically disadvantaged are greater more outcomes, we can inform targeted interventions family level reduce these inequities for CP. What this paper adds is associated increased outcomes. This encompasses low
