摘要: Cognitive deficits in brain tumours are generally thought to be relatively mild and nonspecific, although recent evidence challenges this notion. One possibility is that cognitive screening tools being used assess functions but their sensitivity detect impairment may limited. For improved recognise and/or focal tumours, neuropsychological evaluation tailored specific impairments has been crucial. This study investigates the of a tool, Montreal Assessment (MoCA), compared brief assessment for identifying an unselected primary tumour sample (i.e., low/high grade gliomas, meningiomas). Performance on broad measures impairment: a) number patients impaired global measure or any domain; b) domains analyses MoCA-Intact MoCA-Impaired tests. The group obtained lower naming word fluency scores than group, otherwise performed comparably Overall, based our results from with tumour, MoCA extremely poor detecting necessary. These findings will discussed relation broader issues clinical management planning, as well considerations patients.
