摘要: The south Asian summer monsoon from June to September accounts for the greater part of annual rainfall over most India and southeast Asia. evolution winter circulations is examined on basis surface upper air data stations across India. salient features seasonal reversals temperature pressure gradients winds synoptic fluctuations atmospheric humidity are discussed. space-time variations considered with help climatic pentad charts diagrams. several north central Indian shows a minimum around mid-August maximum mid-February which seem be connected extreme positions ITCZ associated north-south shifts in circulation patterns. Attention drawn characteristic that emerge study daily hourly selected stations. Diurnal temperature, pressure, wind belt briefly treated.
