摘要: Assessing the water quality status for special use is main objective of any monitoring studies. The index (WQI) a mathematical instrument used to transform large quantities data into single number which represents level. In fact, developing WQI in an area fundamental process planning land and resources management. this study, simple methodology based on multivariate analysis developed create groundwater (GWQI), with aim identifying places best drinking within Qazvin province, west central Iran. definition GWQI using average value eight cation anion parameters 163 wells during 3-year period. proportion observed concentrations maximum allowable concentration calculated as normalized each parameter observing wells. Final indices well are considering weight parameter. order assess study area, derived compared those well-known mineral waters. Using indices, iso-index map areas near waters was drawn. case reveals that two extremely quality. Created provides comprehensive picture easily interpretable regional decision makers better
