On the concept of a universal audit of quality and environmental management systems

摘要: There is a definite trend in industry today toward the integration of internal management systems (MSs), including those for managing quality, environment, health and safety, social accountability. The standards describing minimum requirements such have been made largely compatible, but are not yet fully aligned or integrated. Apart from several national integrated environment safety MSs, world has to see corresponding internationally accepted guideline. In contrast, integrative standardization activities realm MS auditing proceeding full force, with introduction pioneering ISO 19011 guideline quality environmental expected soon. This paper focuses on concepts, principles practices truly generic audit, applicable evaluation diverse aspects organizational performance against criteria stated standards. A universal audit model based approach important questions regarding compatibility current schemes discussed.
