摘要: Platelets play a central role in primary hemostasis. Analysis of platelet function is therefore cornerstone the global assessment coagulation status perioperative setting, primarily patients receiving antiplatelet medication, such as cyclooxygenase-1 inhibitors, adenosine diphosphate antagonists and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors. In these patients, knowledge residual highly warranted order to maintain an optimal individual balance perioperatively between inhibition – that is, bleeding thrombosis. Traditional laboratory-based assays, light-transmission aggregometry flow cytometry, are clinical standards testing today.
