摘要: Objective: The aim of this study is to develop an office chair enabling keep working at reclined sitting posture. Background: Sedentary workers are supposed change the posture frequently during long hours sitting. A position has been recommended reduce disc pressure. But slumped caused by buttock sliding forward without any adjustment back reclining commonly observed. worker seems have tendency maintaining condition. We assumed reason be their hands movement away from space when tilting backward. Method: Slide mechanism allowing seat move was designed maintain hand in reclining. prototype manufactured and motion analyzed using capture system. Four experiment chairs were tested including three other commercial chairs. Results: backward movements 13.0mm, 101.7mm, 156.1mm 139.3mm chair, compared B, C D, respectively. And remarkably small chair. Conclusion: developed allows space. expect user more often than normal seated work. further investigation required figure out effectiveness prolonged hours. Application: directly affects commercialization.
