摘要: Stored-product insects can potentially be exposed to grain protectants for variable time periods. Adults of three species, the lesser borer, Rhyzopertha dominica (F.) (Coleoptera: Bostrychidae), granary weevil Sitophilus granarius (L.) Curculionidae), and red flour beetle, Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) Tenebrionidae) were 1, 4, 8, 24 h on brown rice treated with pyrethroid deltamethrin at label rate 0.5 ppm, then removed placed untreated rice. these same species plus weevil, oryzae maize zeamais Motschulsky warehouse Trogoderma variabile Ballion Dermestidae) mixed varying amounts assess progeny production. Immediate delayed mortality adults did not exceed 7% any exposure interval, but production T. was generally lower in comparison that other species. Increasing amount decreased R. Mixed results obtained variabile. Results show long times treatment an entire mass may necessary give complete control stored-product beetles.
