摘要: Four species of bifidobacteria, Bifidobacterium bifidum (ATCC 15696), breve 15700), infantis 15697), and longum 15708), were grown anaerobically at 37 degrees C in lactobacilli MRS broth with 0.5% cysteine-HC1 inoculated 2.5% into three types infant formula (based on soy, or milk, casein hydrolysate) nonfat milk followed by incubation for 24 h. In most cases, the logarithmic phase growth all varied from first 8 to 12 h postinoculation. Generation times B. similar, shortest, formulas. Trends lactic acid production formulas similar trends acetic production. Counts based soy except bifidum, those casein-hydrolyzed always lowest which count was maximal soy. Results suggest that characteristics bifidobacteria specific dependent milk.
