摘要: Sufficient epidemiologic evidence has established an etiologic link between bladder cancer risk and occupational exposure as a painter to organic solvents. Currently, it remains be whether gene-specific promoter methylation contributes development, including by enhancing chromosome breakage or loss. We investigated the effect of chronic solvents paints on DNA profiles in regions four genes (GSTP1, p16INK4a, APC CDH1) micronucleus (MN) frequency exfoliated urothelial cells from voided urine Colombian male non-smoking car painters age-matched unexposed individuals. The exposed group had higher percentage individuals with >2 MNs/2000 compared (P=0.04). Gene-specific analysis showed significantly methylated GSTP1, p16INK4a group. Poisson regression indicated that GSTP1 promoters were more than twofold likely have increase MN reference. Finally, among promoters, those greater age RR increased younger promoters. These results support conclusion may dependent independent interaction
