摘要: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the worst and most common brain tumor, characterized by high proliferation invasion rates. Nanoparticles of biodegradable polymers for anticancer drug delivery have attracted interest in recent years since they provide targeted may overcame obstacle imposed blood–brain barrier. Here we investigated antitumoral effect ketoprofen-loaded nanocapsules (Keto-NC) treatment on vitro vivo glioma progression. We observed that Keto-NC decreased selectively cell viability a panel lines, while did not exhibited toxicity to astrocytes. further demonstrate with sub-therapeutic dose reduced growth as well malignity characteristics implanted tumors. improved weight, locomotion/exploration behavior glioma-bearing rats. Importantly, neither induced mortality or peripheral damage. Finally, Ketoprofen also altered extracellular nucleotide metabolism lymphocytes, suggesting antiinflammatory effects ketoprofen could be associated modulation adenine lymphocytes. Data indicate at first time potential promising therapeutic alterative GBM treatment.
