摘要: In forest planning, an understanding of the spatial relationships between compartments has become increasingly important issue. Effective approaches must, therefore, be developed that include consideration in planning models. Existing approaches, based on numerical optimization, tend to lack means effectively considerations. Further, many suggested have focused ways adjacency constraints or green-up planning. However, order maintain biodiversity forest, methods dealing with, for instance, problem fragmentation old forests, also developed. this paper, issue is addressed and incorporated into long-term The approach attempt minimize outer perimeter areas forest. model presented formulated basis mixed integer programming, solved with a branch bound algorithm. A data set consisting 924 stands was used examine model, which then evaluated different requirements degree clustering. results indicate effective clustering it can within reasonable time despite large number variables. case study loss net present value as result including few percent.
