摘要: Background: Despite evidence suggesting roles for caspase-8 (CASP8) -652 6N del and D302H polymorphisms in prostate cancer (PCa), the association of these with PCa risk remains inconclusive. Therefore, a meta-analysis was performed to more precisely estimate CASP8 susceptibility. Materials Methods: A comprehensive literature search conducted identify all case-control studies risk. Odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used assess strength precision estimate, respectively. Results: Nine -625 4 included. not significantly associated overall analyses. However, subgroup analysis stratified by ethnicity, East Asian Indian populations under recessive model. Furthermore, strongly suggested that lower Non-Indian population dominant Conclusions: In our meta-analysis, ethnic-specific differences evident
