摘要: The inside-outside model has been invoked to explain cell-fate specification of the pre-implantation mammalian embryo. Here, we investigate whether cell-cell interaction can influence fate embryonic blastomeres by sequentially separating in two-cell stage mouse embryos and continuing separation after each cell division throughout development. This procedure eliminates information provided positioning. Gene expression profiles, polarity protein localization functional tests these separated reveal that interactions, through position, blastomere. Blastomeres, absence contact inner-outer positional information, have a unique pattern gene is characteristic neither inner mass nor trophectoderm, but overall they tendency towards 'trophectoderm-like' preferentially contribute trophectoderm lineage.
