摘要: PurposeTo investigate microanatomical relationships during surgical repair of macula involving retinal detachment with pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) and perfluoron (PFO) a microscope-integrated intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT) device.Patients methodsThis consecutive case series included nine eyes patients operated by single surgeon at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. All underwent PPV, PFO injection, endolaser, air-fluid exchange. The was imaged iOCT before after exchange in all eyes.ResultsiOCT imaging ergonomically easy to obtain eyes. clearly demonstrated submacular fluid (SMF) beginning surgery, macular flattening under eyes, small residual SMF six increased occult following eyes.ConclusionMicroscope-integrated is versatile powerful modality that holds great deal promise future. Its confirmation persistent this PFO, may inform decision making, demonstrates pathophysiological rationale for initial face-down positioning repair.
