摘要: The co-residence of bacteriophages and their bacterial hosts in humans, animals, environmental sources directed the use to track origins pathogenic bacteria that can be found contaminated water. objective this study was enumerate Aeromonas caviae (AecaKS148), Enterobacter sp. (EnspKS513), Klebsiella pneumoniae (KlpnKS648) water evaluate association with contamination (human vs. animals). Bacterial host strains were isolated from untreated wastewater Bangkok, Thailand. A double-layer agar technique used detect bacteriophages. All three detected polluted canal samples, likely human wastewater, whereas none non-polluted river samples. AecaKS148 associated fecal sources, while EnspKS513 KlpnKS648 seemed equally prevalent both animal sources. Both also present canals could receive other or environment. In conclusion, all successfully monitored This provided an example for potential as source identifiers pathogen contamination. results will assist controlling contamination, especially developing countries.
