摘要: The avian reovirus (ARV) infection is associated with various disease conditions in poultry. However, the pathogenesis mechanisms are poorly characterized. In present study, we clearly demonstrated that σC of ARV S1133 strain induced apoptosis both BHK-21 and Vero cells. Five kinds assays for were used analyzing ARV-infected cells: (1) assay DNA ladders, (2) ELISA detection cytoplasmic histone-associated fragments, (3) nuclear staining acridine orange, (4) Western blot, Northern immunofluorescent (IFA), (5) flow cytometric analysis. protein could elicit occurring a dose- time-dependent manner. current results further our understanding function cultured cells suggest viral-encoded apoptin possesses apoptosis-inducing ability. Furthermore, deletion analysis suggests carboxyl-terminus important mediating σC-induced because its abolished induction apoptosis.
