摘要: Abstract The influence of cholesterol with various molar fractions on the structure disialoganglioside (GD1a)/cholesterol mixed micelle was investigated by using synchrotron radiation small-angle X-ray scattering (SR-SAXS). radius gyration (Rg) micelles, estimated from obtained data, increased increasing content. A multi-shell model analysis for that successfully applied to estimation GD1 micelles Hirai et al. (1996), revealed cholesterol-dependent increase Rg is due an elongation its prolate spherocylindrical structure. In present analysis, we assumed ganglioside/cholesterol mixture as a triple-shell taking into account high electron density steroid ring inserted in hydrophobic region micelle. examined ratios [ganglioside]/[cholesterol] were 1:0, 1:0.05, 1:0.1, 1:0.2, 1:0.4, 1:0.7 and 1:1. ganglioside c...
