摘要: Periodontitis, a major chronic inflammatory disease of dental tissue, causes periodontal tissue destruction and alveolar bone resorption. When large amounts are lost, it is very difficult to regenerate the using conventional treatments. Periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs) have attracted much attention as potential cell sources for alternative periodontitis regenerative treatment because their capacity self-renewal multipotency. Recently, PDLSCs were found possess immunomodulatory properties. lack expression immune co-stimulating factors suppress proliferation following stimulation with mitogens or in mixed allogeneic lymphocyte reactions. Because these characteristics, anti-inflammatory effects establishment PDLSC transplantation therapies been well studied. The aim this review provide an assessment latest findings on properties clinical application regeneration.
