摘要: The purpose of this paper is to discuss some important parameters that are involved in the biostability materials and implants aimed at eventual development improved vitro testing evaluation procedures. In view fact certain terms have been subject misunderstandings, definitions offered for "biomaterials", "bioerosion", "biostability", "bioresorption". Following brief descriptions various classes used biomedical applications, vivo degradations selected discussed. main conclusions as follows: (1) most synthetic polymers degrade by nonenzymatic hydrolysis. Hence, it recommended initial, schemes omit use enzyme solutions. solutions appropriate case natural biopolymers well biodegradable contain peptidic-, glycosidic-, or phosphatidic bonds.
