New Limonoids from Hortia oreadica and Unexpected Coumarin from H. superba Using Chromatography over Cleaning Sephadex with Sodium Hypochlorite

摘要: Previous investigations of H. oreadica reported the presence a wide spectrum complex limonoids and dihydrocinnamic acids. Our interest in Rutaceae motivated reinvestigation oreadica, brasiliana superba searching for other secondary metabolites present substantial amounts taxonomic analysis. In continuation investigation three new have now been isolated 9α-hydroxyhortiolide A, 11β-hydroxyhortiolide C 1(S*)-acetoxy-7(R*)-hydroxy-7-deoxoinchangin. All compounds from Hortia species reinforce its position Rutaceae. With regard to genus produces highly specialized compounds, whose structural variations do not occur any member Rutaceae, thus, it is evident limonoid data that takes an within family. addition, afforded unexpected coumarin 5-chloro-8-methoxy-psoralen, which may be genuine natural product. Solid-state cross-polarisation/magic-angle-spinning 13C nuclear magnetic resonance, X-Ray fluorescence Field-emission gun scanning electron microscopy experiments show Sephadex LH-20 was modified after treatment with NaOCl, suggesting when xanthotoxin (8-methoxy-psoralen) extracted cleaning gel column, chlorination aromatic system occurred.
