摘要: A new method is presented to analyze drop images for the measurement of surface tension. The method, termed theoretical image fitting analysis (TIFA), eliminates need an independent edge detection module, and enhances range applicability drop-shape techniques such as axisymmetric shape (ADSA). In current schemes ADSA, are used extract experimental profile from a digital image. Then tension calculated by curves profiles, taking adjustable parameter. Edge important part techniques. However, detectors fail when acquisition sharp not possible due or optical limitations. Examples captive bubble experiments lung surfactant research measurements molten metal. generates (instead profiles in schemes), error function that describes pixel-by-pixel deviation one. It then calculates matching accuracy versatility TIFA were examined comparing results with other available advanced methods.
