摘要: Summary Objective Due to lack of effective treatment for rabies, post-exposure prophylaxis becomes very important. In this study, we investigated side effects developed in patients following administration rabies prophylaxis. Methods A total 1685 were vaccinated. 265 (15.7%) administered the Essen regimen with equine immunoglobulin and 1420 (84.2%) Zagreb regimen. 761 (45.2%) vaccinated a verocell vaccine; Verorab 924 (54.8%) Abhayrab. Results All higher female than those males. The chronic illness also had significantly, increased effects; headache (12.4%), pain at site (11.3%), arthralgia (10.5%) compared without illness. We grouped three as; 0–15years, 15–60 years, 60 years above. first group; fever (21.2%), vomiting (2.4%) coughing (2.1%); second group (15–60 years), (8.8%), (6.7%) significantly other groups. Side are schema 2-1-1 Abhayrab trade mark vaccine, particularly doses. Discussion Second generation vaccines safe, cheaper HDCV. When fatality disease is considered, occurring can be tolerated.
