摘要: Current methods of therapy chronic vasomotor (non-allergic) rhinitis are frequently unsuccessful. This led to the development a standardized technique intranasal cryotherapy (longer freeze duration and larger area than previously reported) which was utilized in 50 patients. Indications for included: failure medical anatomically normal patients with mucosal disease caused only by rhinitis. Minimal follow-up 2 years. Obstructive symptoms (subjective objective evaluation) were eliminated 92% markedly improved remaining 8%. Excessive drainage (subjective) relieved 47%, 41%, minimally (therapeutic failure) 12%. Complications minor; however, increased postoperative pain, healing (compared prior series) encountered. provides significantly results treatment when proper patient selection utilized.
