The spontaneous course of nasal obstruction in patients with normal nasal airway resistance

摘要: Sixty-seven patients, candidates for septoplasty in the years 1976-1978 because of nasal obstruction and deviated septum, but not having surgery their airway resistance was normal, were reviewed 1982 again 1989. Between 1989, 6% patients became free respective complaints, 18% obstruction, corresponding overall figures period between 1976 1978, being 20 36%. In fact, majority suffering from vasomotor rhinitis so many cases tends to disappear as time goes on, a conservative waiting policy would seem be an appropriate approach treatment.
